History

Crawford Cemetery, originally Kent’s Cemetery, is more than just a collection of graves. It is a repository of personal stories and local history. Named after Stephen Kent, who had a vision to build a church and a cemetery on the site, the cemetery, now known as Crawford, after the settlement of the same name, was established in 1885. It has also been referred to as Kumtux Cemetery and is home to approximately 125 graves, each with its own unique story and significance.
