Mountain View Cemetery (aka Connell Cemetery) is located on the Northwest edge of the town of Connell. Exit Highway 395 at Highway 260, at Connell. Head NW 1.7 miles on Highway 260 (goes around the town of Connell), turn right at West Clark Street. Continue 0.3 mile to Cemetery Road. Turn left onto Cemetery Road (just before high school). Follow Cemetery Road 1.2 miles. Cemetery Road dead ends at cemetery.
Mountain View Cemetery includes the cemeteries formerly owned by the Masonic Lodge, International Order of Odd Fellows and the Catholic Church with burials dating back to the 1850’s.
Death dates on the markers range from 1902-2009, and 1836 is the earliest birth date shown.
There are 678 individuals buried here.
The cemetery is not fenced in and has a large area for parking cars. It is very well maintained and cared for.
