History
One notable veteran of the Spanish-American War is buried at this site, along with at least one Civil War veteran named John Stephen Frans. The first burial occurred in 1883 for Mary Louise Frans, while the last burial occurred in 1955 for Joseph M. Harris. The earliest recorded birth date is 1812, belonging to Mary Melissa Sutherlin. Many markers are obscured by overgrown shrubs and weeds, but there is increasing interest in maintaining and caring for the site.
