- Mrs. Sarepta Patterson was a nurse who served under her maiden name of Sarepta C. McNall during the American Civil War. After serving for one year in the E.S. Hospital Division No. 1 at Annapolis, Maryland, she then performed three years of volunteer nursing work. Post-war, she was a member of the National Association of Civil War Army Nurses, and resided in Grand Junction, Colorado in 1910.
