C. A. GALLOWAY, 81, DIES
Civil War Veteran Farmed Near Davenport 50 Years.
Charles A. Galloway, age 81, retired farmer and Civil War veteran, died Tuesday at his home at Medical Lake. He had lived in Davenport and Spokane before moving to Medical Lake a few months ago. He had farmed in the Davenport region for more than 50 years.
Surviving is his widow, Margaret. The body is at Hazen & Jaeger's where funeral services are being arranged for Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
The G. A. R. will participate in the rites and burial will be in Riverside Park.
