The regiment was first enrolled between 28 July 1862, and 9 August 1862. They were first ordered into service between 4 August 1862, and 17 January 1863. They were first discharged between 4 December 1862, 9 December 1863. They were ordered again into service between 1 May 1863, and 20 August 1864. They were discharged again between 12 May 1863, and 15 October 1864. The Colonel in charge was Colonel Henry Neill. [1]
