- Civil War soldier: Private, Company F, 16 Maine Infantry, 1863, merged to Private, Company F, 20 Maine Infantry in Dec 1864, served to end of war; married before the war, three children; residing at Sales Station in 1910. Following his death, his body was cremated by Mellinger at the Tacoma Cremation Society. His ashes were placed in storage at Oakwood Hill Cemetery, but the storage space of the ashes is now empty and his burial location has not been identified.
