Acting Master's Mate aboard the Kingfisher, Navy, Civil War; to Tacoma before 1891, when he was a member of Custer Post 6, GAR, Department WA/AK; superintendent of deposit vaults, Tacoma Safe Deposit; in receipt of a pension for his Civil War service from about 1865, and resided briefly at Tucson, Arizona Territory. At his death, his body was cremated by Mellinger/Cremation Society of Tacoma, and his ashes have not yet been located.
