Wounded at Shiloh, Tennessee (date not stated). Discharged on a Surgeon's certificate of disability at Shiloh, Tennessee. Elected a member of Custer Post No. 6 of Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington on 17 Feb 1912 and mustered in at his residence sometime between 17 Feb 1912 and 24 Feb 1912. Admitted to the Washington State Soldiers Home at Orting, Pierce County, Washington on 1 Jun 1912 and honorably discharged on 4 Sep 1912. Admitted to the Washington State Veterans Home at Retsil, Kitsap County, Washington on 6 Sep 1912 where he apparently died. All dates of his military service are found in his complied military service record.
