Francis M Adams "commonly called 'General' died at the Soldier's Home at Orting, Washington ... he served throughout the Civil War in the 7th M. S. M. with Major Houts, Captain Box, and others." (died. March 20, 1916 -Weekly Standard Herald of April 21, 1916)
Four of their children and wife, Frances J., had preceeded him in death. Oral history has wife's maiden name as DeArmond, but most dates and names match otherwise.
