Promoted to Corporal on 1 Jun 1865. Mustered out at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Joined Custer Post No. 6 of Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington by transfer on 24 May 1913. Died in Tacoma, Washington. He is buried in a G.A.R. section of the cemetery.
