Driving Directions

From the junction of Hwy 410 and Hwy 165 South in Buckley, head south on Hwy 165 1.6 miles to junction with Hwy 162. Turn left at stop sign. Continue on Hwy 165 just over 1.5 miles towards Wilkeson. As Hwy 165 curves to the left there is road that turns to the right, Carbonado South Prairie Rd. Turn right on this road and follow 0.4 miles to Johns Road. Turn left and follow 0.2 miles to Wilkeson Town Cemetery on the left.

Cemetery History

This cemetery was originally called the Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Some older maps still show it as that. It is now called Wilkeson Town Cemetery.

Cemetery Condition

Cemetery is in very good condition and well taken care of. There is a dirt road that runs thru and around the right side of the cemetery. Located 197 stones or markers, of which only one was not legible.

Records published below were transcribed from tombstone inscriptions by Suzanne Livingstone during a visit to the cemetery in April & May 2004, with further records added during a subsequent visit in February 2006.
